Ahmedabad Dwarka Somnath Tour

The Somnath temple located in Prabhas Patan near Veraval Junagadh in Saurashtra on the western coast of Gujarat, India is believed to be the first among the twelve jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. It is an important pilgrimage and tourist spot of Gujarat. Reconstructed several times in the past after repeated destruction by several Muslim invaders and rulers, the present temple was reconstructed in Chaulukya style of Hindu temple architecture and completed in May 1951. The reconstruction was started under the orders of the Home Minister of India Vallabhbhai Patel and completed after his death.

Day 01:- Ahmedabad local

On Arrival, at Ahmedabad, you will meet our representative and transfers to Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Ahmedabad which includes Sabarmati Ashram, Adalaj ki vav Akshardham temple, Overnight Stay at Ahmedabad

Day 02: Ahmedabad – Jamnagar – Dwarka (450kms/08hrs)

Today reach at Ahmedabad on arrival our representative meet and greet. Later Proceed to Dwarka via Jamnagar. On arrive at Jamnagar visit Bala Hanuman Temple, Lakota Lake & Museum. Then after proceed to Dwarka. In the evening visit Dwarkadhish Temple. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 03: Dwarka – Bet Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath (350kms/07hrs)

In the morning trip to Bet Dwarka, visit Old Temple of Krishna. The trip from Okha on the mainland to the temple is by a local boat. On the way to Bet Dwarka, visit Nageshwar Temple – One of the 12th Jyotilingam of Shiva. Rukmini Temple and Gopi Talav Return back to Dwarka depart to Porbandar (75km/1.5hrs) at Porbandar visit Kirti Mandir – the place where Gandhiji was born. Later proceed to Somnath (130km/2.5hrs) Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: Somnath – Ahmedabad (250kms/ 05hrs Approx.)

Today proceed to Ahmedabad. In the evening drop at Railway station or Airport for your onward journey.
